There are many web publishers out there, each more than willing to take your money but Writers Cramp Publishing approaches business with one main goal, to provide aspiring authors with a low-cost high-quality publishing service. No Frills is not just our motto, we live by it.

But don’t think for a moment that you will not get what you need here. Writers Cramp Publishing is a full service house. We can create cover graphics including the ISBN barcode, format your book for POD printing, and supply you with a solid support in selling it afterward. We not only can get your book in print, we will create an eBook (pdf), and help you get started turning it into an audio book if that is what you want.  WCP is here to supply the publishing skills that match your authoring needs. We can also help you setup and maintain a website devoted to your writings and advertise it on the WCP website.

How do I get my book into print?

Writers Cramp Publishing requires your manuscript be in a standard electronic format. That is usually not a problem because most writers work on a computer using Microsoft Word or some similar word processor. WCP will work with an author during the final formatting of the pages in the book as much or as little as they need or want. This is to assure that WCP offers the best possible product to the public.  If you have questions at any time during this process, please ask. When your manuscript is ready, attach it to an email and send it to us. We will process your file in preparation for printing.

Can I have a custom cover?

We can design the cover graphics using your pictures or some of our own, or we can help you do it yourself if you have the skills. Pictures and all graphics should be sent as 300dpi jpg or png files. Do not worry. Writers Cramp will make sure you understand how to do this if you don’t already know.

Can you edit my book?

We can edit your book for a fee or simply format it in preparation for POD printing which is part of the standard package. In order to offer this service as inexpensively as possible, we must limit the amount of editing we accept. However, we will consider all inquiries on a case-by-case basis. It never hurts to ask.

How long will it take?

A new release will be available through Writers Cramp website within a month. For its appearance on other websites, it can take much longer and is completely outside of WCP control. These are separate organizations and the best we can do is making sure they have good information to begin with. What and when they process it is up to them.

Where will it be available?

Your book will be listed in Bowkers database and thus, available to libraries and bookstores throughout the world including Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble, Borders and even the little mom and pop stores. In addition, the title will be available on Writers Cramp website.
